Tuition Payment Plans

Monthly: (auto debit available)	$98.00
Annual Registration Fee:	$69.00

Family Discount:	$4.00 per month
Late Fee:	$15 after the 7th of the month

 

Annual Registration Fee

The $69 registration fee covers performances, parties, awards and administrative costs of the program.

Tuition

Although there is no yearly contract, tuition is calculated on a yearly calendar and paid in any of the above plans, regardless of the number of lessons in any particular month. Annual is paid at enrollment. Semi-Annual is due at enrollment and 6 months later on the 1st of the month. Quarterly is due at enrollment and every three months after the 1st day of the month. Monthly is due on the 1st day of each month.

ALL FEES AND TUITION ARE DUE IN ADVANCE AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

School Calendar

The calendar gives each student at least 44 instruction days during the year. See the current year calendar for the exact date of Holidays and Vacations.

Absences

The tuition you pay reserves a place for you with a particular teacher at a set time. Therefore there is no reduction in tuition for missed lessons. If a student is absent, you may call, and the teacher will call with the homework assignment. If a teacher is absent, there will be a substitute teacher. If we cancel a lesson for any reason, we must make-up the lesson.

Makeup Lessons

Because of the nature of Group Lessons, there are no make up lessons. If you notify us that a student will be absent, the teacher will fax or e-mail the homework.

Attendance

It is important to bring the required material with you, and to be on time for class; late arrivals disrupt the class and students will not have the advantage of a full session.

Withdrawal

2 WEEKS WRITTEN NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO WITHDRAW FROM THE PROGRAM.

The 2-week notice must be given by the 15th of the month then will apply to the next billing period.

TUITION IS PAYABLE FOR THE DURATION OF THE MONTH WHETHER OR NOT LESSONS ARE TAKEN.

Schedule

FBMC is a year-round program. Students who discontinue classes for vacation will be charged a re-registration fee when they return and may not advance with their class.

We will make every effort to find a class opening in another class at the student's level.

Class Size

Each Ft. Bend Music Center must have a minimum of 5 students. If one of the classes for which you have registered does not have enough students, we will contact you and make arrangements for another group class or private lessons.

Class Time

Each Group class will have 50 minutes of instruction followed by 10 minutes if needed for questions or special assistance.

Toddler classes are 30 minutes.
